    MEH Revisited
A new set of galleries will be coming soon for one of the town's noted historical buildings, Mount Ephraim House.  Access to the building after it had been vacated was kindly given to the Tunbridge Wells Project and we have documented the entire house as it is before major building work starts. The existing extension will be replaced together with sympathetic renovation of the main house ensuring that its character will be maintained. The redevelopment offering 57 spacious en-suite bedrooms

    Sherwood Tunnel
A big thank you to Robert Bellingham from Perth in Australia who contacted me about three years ago to tell me about a cave like tunnel at Sherwood that he used to play in as a child over 50 years ago. He last went looking for it with his father back in the mid 1990's when he was over here and managed to locate it amongst the undergrowth in the middle of the woods, still hidden and probably not having been accessed for many years. However, he couldn't get very close due to the heavy bog and
  3. Farewell Christopher!

    Farewell Christopher!
I would like to say farewell and good luck to Christopher Cassidy who has worked on the Tunbridge Wells Project with me since I invited him to join me back in September 2010. Chris has now moved out of the area and I know that he will be greatly missed for his contribution to the town in the form of his Anke Blog which built up a great following and of course, working on the TWP with me. We have some great memories from working together on the TW Project and over the years have made many
  4. Halls Bookshop

    Halls Bookshop
We thought we’d better pay a quick visit to Hall’s Bookshop of Chapel Place before the upcoming refurbishments. One of the major changes will be the addition of a new gallery space in the basement, which is currently used for storage. We had to make sure we captured this place for how it looks today so that future generations can see it too.
  5. River Grom Tunnels
    06 Dec, 2013
    River Grom Tunnels
We, and many people besides, have been waiting to explore this location for years. Have you ever wondered where the River Grom travels on its way through town, or perhaps where the Chalybeate Spring goes? Step with us then as we travel underneath The Pantiles to have a look. We were very surprised, not only how big the tunnel complex was but how very clean it was down there too. We expected deep thick layers of brown iron deposits but it was just a slight film under the water surface. It was

    Fiat 500 Trekking Review
If you want to stand out from a crowd there are several ways of doing it. You could dress like a chicken, you could cartwheel naked around the Millennium Clock, or you could drive around in a bright yellow Fiat 500L emblazoned with logos. We chose the latter. We’d been planning our road trip to Germany for a long time but it wasn’t until just three weeks before we were due to set off that we put out a pleading tweet for a set of wheels to get us there. Of course we could’ve taken our own cars
  7. Final Day in Wiesbaden

    Final Day in Wiesbaden
Today was our final day in Wiesbaden and we decided to make the most of it by visiting as many people that helped us last year as possible. First up we paid another visit to local photographer, Axel. He had managed to obtain permission for us to explore a local church, called the Lutherkirche, Project Style! Wow, what an amazing experience. We climbed the bell tower and also explored inside the roof. It took our breath away. Thanks Axel. Here are a few photographs. And yes we did go up to that

    K&S Hospital Demolition
Work is well under way on the demolition of the main buildings at the Kent & Sussex Hospital site. Today we were allowed in to photograph the demolition going on. Here's a gallery of images.
  9. The Wiesbaden Fototage

    The Wiesbaden Fototage
Our exhibition is getting closer and closer. It’s just over a week away and still we are finalising plans and getting prints printed. It’s all go go go here at TWP HQ. As we get closer we thought we’d share a few details of the exhibition and what our space will look like. Our space is in a building called “Altes Gericht Wiesbaden” which translates as “Old Courthouse Wiesbaden”. Perfect for us wouldn’t you say? We’ve been given one of the cells below the courthouse as per the photo above.
